Volleyball came to us through the schools we host. Girls and boys teams from Argentina have toured New Zealand with us, playing school sides in each region they visit. We line up matches against schools at the right level, sometimes two opponents in one session so everyone gets court time, with training on school and stadium courts in between. It travels well with other sports, which is why most of our volleyball teams arrive as part of a bigger school group.

Australia is the simplest way to take a New Zealand team overseas. The flight is short, the opposition is serious about its sport and there is plenty to do between games. Our Australian tours run up the east coast. Sydney's beaches and harbour, the Gold Coast, then Brisbane, with a game in each place and training and sightseeing in between. We have planned school cricket around Brisbane and the Gold Coast too. Visiting teams from further away can pair Australia with a New Zealand leg and see both countries on one trip.

Volleyball here means indoor courts and the beach, and the east coast gives a touring side both, with school and club competition in Sydney, the Gold Coast and Brisbane. We have hosted school volleyball teams in New Zealand since 2023, so we know what a touring side needs: matches at the right level, court time between them and a route that keeps travel days short. Matches in Australia are arranged for your team once we are planning together. When to go: school volleyball runs through the Australian terms, and the national schools cup is played on the Gold Coast each December.

How much does a tour cost?

Every tour is quoted individually because every tour is built around your team — sport, level, dates and budget. Tell us what a great trip looks like and we will come back with an honest price and a first draft itinerary.

Can we customise our itinerary?

Yes — no two tours are the same. Every Brock Sports tour starts with your team, your sport and your goals, and we build it with you, fixture by fixture.

What is included in the price?

Every quote sets it out plainly. A typical tour covers games, training, accommodation, transport, breakfasts and dinners, and the cultural and sightseeing programme. Lunches and personal travel insurance are usually separate, and we will spell out anything else that is.

Which meals are included?

Breakfasts and dinners are included as standard. Lunches are usually at your own cost, so players can choose for themselves.

What happens if the weather turns?

We adjust the day and offer a suitable alternative wherever we can. It is New Zealand, so we plan with the weather in mind.

Do you run multi sport school tours?

Yes, it is the tour we run most. Recent school groups have travelled with rugby, hockey and volleyball teams together, and with rugby, basketball, hockey and handball. Boys and girls teams tour as one party and play on the same days where we can.
